Vaasa region is one of Finland’s strongest export regions. The proportion of export businesses to the population, as well as exports per capita are among the highest in Finland. A full 80 per cent of the region’s production is exported.
The annually organized Vaasa EnergyWeek is the place where the cluster companies gather to network and make business and it started on March 20th and goes on till March 24th.
The event. Vaasa EnergyWeek offers interesting events and forums for experts in both the public and private sectors. The international event is arranged for the sixth time in 2017.
The event has grown significantly from year to year and has brought in more companies, experts and people from all over the world to take part.
The mix of traditional and new events makes EnergyWeek an even more interesting week of energy. One can meet people with the same burning interest for energy, join in the discussions and is an opportunity expand the professional network to the next level.

Wind Exchange & Solar is an international exhibition, networking and seminar event for wind and solar energy solutions and started 21st March and will on the 22nd as well at the Vaasa City hall.
Cyber Security and Digitalization are today’s hottest topics on everyone’s lips. In this seminar you will learn how these topics affect the energy industry and takes place on 22nd at Ritz.
Gas Exchange is an international networking event for energy experts, focusing on gases including LNG and LBG for power generation, transport and shipping and takes place on the 23rd at the Vaasa City hall.
Future trends in regulating Finnish energy markets will be discussed in Energy Regulation event on 22nd at Hotel Central.
Energy & Buildings focuses on topics related to energy efficiency as well as construction and automation solutions for new build and refurbishment purposes and takes place on 24th at the Vaasa City hall.
